And then there were four. Rounding out the 2017 lineup for Televes antennas, we present the DATBOSS LR. This is the antenna for people who want extremely long range UHF performance but don't need VHF (or do need VHF filtering.) It's the way to go if you want a high level of performance but a little bit smaller size than the DATBOSS LR MIX, which adds VHF reception.

And, of course, you know we have a full review of it just waiting for you.

The powerhouse antenna with the funny name is BACK and better than ever! The new Televes DATBOSS MIX UHF/VHF antenna may look familiar but it's been completely revised from last year's model. Every inch (or centimeter since this is European-made) has been reviewed to make sure it is the best design for US television viewing.

The big tech change is the addition of T-Force amplification which uses MMIC circuitry for the cleanest possible results. All of this means that in testing, we saw up to 5dB improvement in unamplified gain and up to 10dB improvement in amplified gain, with a drop in noise figure. That's a lot of technical stuff and if you aren't sure what it means, it should give you better reception than before.

The Televes DATBOSS Mix combines 60-mile range, optional amplifier, and LTE filtering to give you the best possible antenna experience. It's made by Televes, one of the leading antenna manufacturers and recognized worldwide as a leader in technology and quality.

High Power. Long Range. Massive Size. When we introduced Televes antennas last year, we weren't prepared for the massive demand for the most gigantic member of the family. Now, it's been fully improved and refined, and we're ready to go.

Check out this new DATBOSS Mix LR from Televes. You might be forgiven for thinking it looks an awful lot like the previous generation, but it's been refined inside and out to give it even more totally blistering reception power. Not only that, the plastic that used to be white is now grey, but that doesn't make much of a difference. What's more important is that it now includes the powerful T-Force amplification system that produces more power and cleaner amplification.

The whole antenna itself has received a once-over and gets up to 10dB more gain even when unamplified, and the built-in amplfiier is so clean and so powerful that even at 70 miles away the auto-gain-control kicked in and limited the power of some received signals.

The new DATBOSS Mix LR is available NOW at Solid Signal, but before you check it out... read our review of the DATBOSS Mix LR , which gives all the details. If you need UHF and VHF performance in an antenna that will pick up even the most distant signals, check out the new DATBOSS Mix LR!

Get ready for the next generation. Televes' antennas combine high quality and clean amplification with advanced features. That means you get an antenna "like the ones they used to make..." designed to last for years but with the latest and greatest features.

Last year's Televes antennas blew me away, but this year, the line is completely updated. The new UHF/VHF DATBOSS Mix from Televes is the successor to the DAT790 Mix. It looks very much like the older antenna, but with grey plastic instead of white. However, it's been refined inside and out for better reception.

The antenna is designed for better performance on the outer edges of its beam width, so that pointing is easier and signals from different directions come in more clearly. The biggest change, however, is Televes' proprietary T-Force manufacturing process which means cleaner, more efficient electronics. This means more unamplified gain -- up to 10dB more than last year's model in tests -- and amplified gain that was literally off the charts. In fact the amplifier was so strong that auto-gain-control kicked in on signals from 60 miles away. Of course it still maintains class-leading LTE filtering.

The new antenna is available NOW at Solid Signal, but before you check it out... read our review of the DATBOSS Mix, which gives all the details. If you need UHF and VHF performance in an antenna that will last a decade or more easily, check out the new DATBOSS Mix!

It's time for a new generation to take over. The DIRECTV Genie 2 gives users 400 hours of HD recording space and the ability to watch TV in 7 rooms using wired and wireless clients. It also supports two 4K clients at the same time.

AT&T's vision of the future is obvious with the HS17 Genie 2 (which might ...

Who says a cell booster has to be ugly?

The SureCall Flare is one of the most powerful home and office cellular signal boosters out there, and it's the first one you might actually put in the living room without complaints from anyone else. It looks like modern sculpture and uses a new antenna design that gives maximum power, covering up to 2,500 square feet.

It's the latest in SureCall's growing list of boosters, and it's available now.

If you're curious, I kicked the tires and did some instrumented testing which I present to you in the form of this PDF review, complete with instrumented testing.

I personally found the Flare to be a very competent booster that's going to a permanent place in my office. It's handsome, capable, and even gives me good LTE boost for when the Wi-Fi is clogged. What more could you ask?

Maybe just one thing... a decent unboxing video, so...
