OK, so they say everything is in the cloud now. You don't want flash drives or memory cards or god-forbid CD-ROMs. You just store everything up there and it just kind of gets where it needs to go.

Except, that isn't really true. If it were, then you wouldn't be able to buy a computer with a USB port. I don't know about you but I still use physical media. I use flash drives although I format them in a safe machine first, because it's true they can have viruses on them even from the factory. And more importantly, I use SD cards because I have a DSLR and it shoots 40 megabyte pictures that would talk a while to transfer wirelessly.

That's why I like this little Sabrent USB adapter. It makes it easy for me to transfer my photos to my computer. I pop out the memory card, pop it into this adapter, and it's like plugging in a flash drive. Sure, some computers have SD card slots but most don't. This way no matter where I am I can transfer full-resolution photos to my computer as I need, and the thing is so small I barely notice it in my tech bag. If anything, it's so small that I sometimes have to dig deep to find it.

It could not possibly be easier. This little device doesn't take a power cord or a driver. If you have a USB port, it works. I've even used it to put photos up on a smart TV through the USB port, although I suppose I shouldn't promise it would work for every TV like that.

This little card reader costs hardly anything and ships fast from our Solid Signal fulfillment centers. I highly recommend one, because even if you don't have a need for it today, chances are you will at some point, and you don't want to get stuck paying twice as much for an inferior product. Remember, not all SD card readers have the power of USB 3.0, and if you want to get your photos in a hurry, you'll need USB 3.0.
