This looks very cool! PYLE PYLPLCM7200 7 inch TFT Mirror Monitor/Backup Night-Vision Camera Kit Without Bluetooth (CM7200) from Solid Signal

But I have two questions:
1) how long are the cables or does one need to supply the cable run from the license plate to the mirror?
2) Is there an easy way to enable the backup camera view on demand? When I'm trying to hook up a trailer to the hitch, sometimes it is very helpful to see the hitch whilst creeping forward as well as backward.
