You can swing an RG6 cable around the Signal Group office and not hit a soul. (Not that we’d actually do that, mind you.) That’s because most of us are working from home these days. This change presented challenges, but our hardworking people stepped up to the plate. The company continues to serve customers with the same efficiency it’s always had. We thought we’d take a minute to honor these hardworking people by telling you how it’s done!
As an online electronics retailer, we have to maintain a strong IT infrastructure. This part of our business never stops whether we’re in the office or not. Orders still have to come in and shipments have to go out. Plus, we have to maintain strong defenses. This helps make sure your transactions are safe from unwanted “visitors.” We’re grateful to have the right team to handle all this.
Shout outs go to our IT department led by Dave Sack. From his home base, he makes sure everything keeps running the way it’s supposed to. This means you keep getting the products and services you need. As vital as Dave is, the IT department is a team operation. Todd Bohler, A’Keem Drew, and Kelvin Floyd also pitch in on the daily to keep those online wheels turning, so to speak.
Customer Service Excellence
At the end of most of these blog posts, we ask you to call our reps for more information. We’re talking about the Signal Group’s dedicated customer service team. Working from home hasn’t stopped them one single bit. They’re still answering questions and making product recommendations from their homes. We can’t brag about the Solid Signal customer service department and not mention Mike Masura. He’s done a terrific job leading his team and the company through these times. These folks can’t ship out products from home. To help get you the products you’ve ordered and keep our shipping team as safe as possible, the company has implemented a rotating shift. Management of this department is split between Earlene Burden and Al McKenzie. Their team handles shipping and receiving in two shifts: morning/afternoon and afternoon/evening. Big thanks to Earlene, Al and the entire warehouse team: Sharline Aguirre, Rick Burrack, Tim Cooper, Marie McCavana, and Blaise Glander.
Signal Connect, Too!
The folks in the Signal Connect division haven’t stopped working! They have to stay busy answering questions over the phone. That’s because Signal Connect still offers free account management services to its satellite TV clients. That means they’re recommending satellite TV equipment, fixing connection issues, and more. They do this on the daily!
Kudus to department head Mike Kochenderfer for leading his people during this transition.
