What you’ll see at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show

It’s almost time. FLIBS, the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, starts October 27. And what a show it’s going to be. This is the 62nd show, and it’s one of the only conventions in the country that didn’t take a break in 2020. So, while other shows are regaining ground, FLIBS is off and running!

What to see when you’re there

You’re definitely going to want to check out the SuperYacht Village. This is the only collection of its kind. You’ll find some of the most spectacular yachts in the world, some as long as 300 feet! If you live the good life yourself, or if you just want to pretend you do, this is a must-see.

This is being billed as the largest collection of high-end yachts in the world, and the world’s largest outdoor, in-water exhibition. I believe it. I mean, from the pictures it’s incredibly expensive.

Some of these yachts were outfitted by Signal Connect team members personally, although our confidentiality to our clients prevents us from saying much more. It’s a great place for our satellite experts to reunite with some of the owners and operators we’ve worked with over the years.

The Windward VIP Experience

If you’re looking for a true taste of luxury, you’ll want to go to the Windward VIP club in the heart of the show. It’s an open-bar luxury experience like no other. It’s where you’ll find the true movers and shakers, the people who make the world (and the marine world) go around.

OK, let’s put our cards on the table. It’s not a cheap experience, with tickets running $300 to start. But in addition to the top level socializing, you’ll enjoy a rooftop art gallery, classic and iconic cars, fashion, and live music. This is a top-notch event that will make you feel like one of the glitterati.

Enjoy the Aquazone

If you’re looking for something a bit more budget minded, check out AquaZone. It’s included with your admission. Presented by Nautical Ventures, is the world-famous AquaZone… bigger and better than ever before. The AquaZone is an exciting and engaging attraction designed to give boat show-goers an upfront and personal experience with a variety of water sports and innovative marine products. The AquaZone is open during the same hours as the boat show. Demonstrations start one hour after the show opens and end one hour before the show closes.

Visit Signal Connect

You’ll definitely want to carve out some time to visit the Marine Equipment Tent. Once you’re there, head to booth 606 and find the Signal Connect booth. We’re there all week, ready to meet with you and show you the latest and greatest in marine entertainment. We have a few new things to show this year. Now, I could tell you all about them, but what fun would that be? You’ll want to make an appointment to talk about the new stuff with one of our experts, and here’s how you do that:

Fill out the form below. Say you want to set up an appointment with an expert at FLIBS. We’ll get back to you, usually within one business day.
