I recently heard someone ask this question and all I can say is, you have to start somewhere. While it’s true that some pay-TV providers do have Netflix built into their boxes, you don’t need a cable or satellite subscription for Netflix.
Here’s what you do need:
A computer OR a streaming box and a TV with HDMI input
-AND-
Internet speeds of at least 3Mbps.
You should have internet speeds of at least 10Mbps for best results. You don’t need a cable or satellite subscription, that’s pretty much the whole point.
