2 months in: Mission Accomplished?

Our new blog launched on this platform a little over two months ago. I’m proud to say that as of about a week ago we have completely turned off the old platform and that we’re ready to move forward! Take a look at what we’ve accomplished in the last month:

  • New support forum with the last 6 months of articles pre-populated
  • Tons of database upgrades to make things work better
  • about 100 new articles, of course
  • Recruited two new guest bloggers
  • About a zillion tiny changes you’d never notice
  • Fixed problems with fonts that were driving me crazy
  • We’re now a part of Google News, Apple News, and Flipboard

What’s next?

We’re kind of at a “mission accomplished” stage with the transition, and that means focusing back on great new content. Whether you’re a satellite TV fan, commercial installer, or someone who just loves all sorts of gadgets, we’re here to bring you the all-time best news and tutorials, plus a healthy dose of fun and games because life isn’t all about learning 100% of the time.

It’s not a blog, it’s a community

This blog is really all about all of you. It’s about what you want to read, what you want to do, and what you like to tinker with. It’s true that I write most of the content, but it’s your comments and suggestions that drive everything, and of course we wouldn’t be anywhere without you.

Of course, reading is great but have you ever thought of becoming a featured contributor? The Solid Signal Blog is always looking for articles and submissions of all types. Tell us your success story, tell us what you did that finally solved that pesky problem, and you could help millions of people!

Looking forward…

The goal is to make The Solid Signal Blog and The Solid Signal Forum the best they’ve ever been, and drive readership to new heights in 2018. We’re about a third of the way through the year and so far, everything looks great!
