Fall is coming: Time to get ready

OK so it’s Labor Day and you don’t want to labor. I get that. But since fall is right around the corner, and the weather is pretty good, and maybe you might have an extra person or two around the house, why not take a crack at some of those outdoor tasks you’ve been putting off all summer?

I’m talking about inspecting all your outdoor cables for corrosion, checking the aim on your antenna, seeing if your cellular booster antenna is up high enough… all the things that you swore you would do all summer, but you didn’t.

Of course, don’t forget the satellite dish. You may not be able to aim it yourself but at least you can check to see that the connections look good and that there aren’t any trees that could sag due to the weight of snow and block the dish’s view of the sky. If you find out now, there’s still time to do some trimming before the icy season starts.

With friends around the job will be safer and easier and will get done even faster. So why not take just a few minutes to get everything done?

I promise that the job won’t take long at all and you’ll be back to enjoying your day off in no time. You’ll even look like a hero to your friends and family, perhaps even worthy of another bratwurst!
