I’m sure I don’t need to convince you to shop at Amazon. They’re the largest retailer, probably in the whole history of history. I would be very surprised if anyone was reading this article and didn’t have an Amazon account. It’s ok to admit.
People love Amazon because they get free shipping on a lot of things and because they have pretty much everything ever made. The company has done a truly astounding job of transitioning from being a bookseller in the early 2000s to their standing today. They’ve added streaming, video, branded products, and of course Alexa, everyone’s favorite digital assistant. Why wouldn’t you want to give them your money?

We list them only at Solid Signal for several reasons. Sometimes manufacturers actually won’t let us list on Amazon. Sometimes the product actually needs to be confirmed for sale. In a case like that, a technician needs to consult with the customer before a sale can be made. This can be due to contracts or some technical limitation that needs to be addressed. Amazon won’t sell parts like that, but we’ll sell them at Solid Signal.
Sure, free shipping is great…
I know that everyone loves free shipping, and if you want to buy from Amazon just to get free shipping, I totally get you. I do the same. Sometimes though we can offer the same product at a lower price, even when you factor in shipping. That’s because Amazon offers free shipping on products that they buy from distributors. When you buy from Solid Signal, you’re buying from the distributor so you can get the discount that Amazon gets. Yes you will pay for shipping but a lot of times the total cost ends up being lower..
