The Perfect Product for Anyone with Hearing Loss

Stuart Sweet thinks he’s the king of product write ups, but after reading this, I knew it was time to dethrone him!

I love hanging out with my dad, but I dread watching movies with him. All those years of working with power tools took their toll on his hearing. Now, when he finds a movie he likes, he cranks up the volume. Watching a show with him is like being in the front row at a rock concert. By the time the ending credits roll, my ears are ringing and so are Mom’s. We suggested he needs a hearing aid but his pride prevents him from actually getting a set. I don’t want to not spend time with him, but his TV-watching habits are destroying my hearing. Fortunately, there’s a solution.

Working at Solid Signal definitely gives me a heads up on the latest electronic products. Such was the case with the Sonic Alert amplified Bluetooth digital headset. This headset is the perfect solution for my dad. It offers CD quality sound that can be cranked up to 125dB for him while Mom and I can watch the TV at a normal volume. That alone is reason enough for me to buy a pair of these for the old man. That said, I would be remiss not to mention the headphones’ other features and benefits:

  • Works with any Bluetooth enabled device
  • Left and right balance and tone control
  • Tone control adjusts for high or low frequency hearing loss
  • Comfortable, over-the-head style design
  • Indoor range: up to 32 feet
  • Comes with a rechargeable battery with eight-hour continuous usage time
  • One-year warranty

These Sonic Alert headphones have another interesting feature that I think will be perfect for my dad. The headphones can be worn comfortably over hearing aids. This will be great when Dad finally caves in and actually gets a pair of hearing aids. (Mom says she’s committed to wearing him down on this issue and I have every confidence that she’ll succeed.) When that day finally comes, I know using these headphones won’t be that much of a hassle for him. Frankly, it’ll be nice to actually enjoy watching the occasional movie with him. That’s why I’m ordering the Sonic Alert amplified Bluetooth digital headset for Pops.

While I know Dad will love the headphones, I realize that this will make more work for myself. Unfortunately, the old man is not exactly a technological wizard. Not by a long shot. This means I’ll have to make the Bluetooth connection for him. I’ll also have to show him how to use the system… many times. My best bet is to show Mom how the headphones work and hope that she can help Pops with them when I’m not there. She’s can check Facebook on her cellphone, so she can operate the Sonic Alert headset.

If you or someone you love has hearing loss, you should consider getting these headphones. They’re comfortable, versatile, and provide an enjoyable experience for everyone. Now, the TV won’t be too loud for one person or two quiet for another. Everyone will finally get to hear all the dialogue without close captioning. (Anyone who finds this intrusive will love these headphones.) Do you have any questions about these headphones, we’re happy to answer them. Just give us a call at 888-233-7563.
