FINALLY: DPH42 Multiswitch available at Solid Signal!

We’ve been talking about it for almost a year. This rather innocent piece of kit here, the DISH DPH42 multiswitch, is the answer to the prayers of thousands of DISH power users. For with this little chunk of metal, one satellite dish can support two Hopper 3 DVRs. That means an astounding 32 tuners of recording capabilities, or 18 rooms covered. That’s not chump change and let’s be honest, it’s probably enough to satisfy pretty much every user out there.

There is one thing you need to know if you want to use one of these, and it’s a little … counterintuitive. If you have a Hopper 3 now, you know that you have to use a Hybrid Pro LNB. If you have a DPH42, you can’t use a Hybrid Pro LNB, you have to use one of the older-style Eastern Arc or Western Arc LNBs. I know it makes no sense if you think about it but the DPH42 acts as the Hybrid Pro part, so all you need is a conventional LNB on the dish. It doesn’t work if you use a Hybrid Pro LNB.

If you’ve been waiting for this multiswitch, it’s your lucky day! Check it out now at SolidSignal!
