This is a very common question we get. Although we have over 40,000 parts listed at Solid Signal’s web site, there are always opportunities to add more.
We add hundreds of parts every day and some of our most successful parts were added by customer request. Of course we can’t add every part from every manufacturer… there are agreements to be negotiated, price issues, all sorts of fancy stuff, but if the part is available then we will happily add it and even tell you when it’s available!
What determines what parts we list?
Of course, the first consideration is whether or not we can get the part at a fair price. There are some companies that won’t sell to e-commerce retailers like us. There are some who only want to sell direct, or through amazon. Believe it or not there are some retailers who only want their products in local stores and not on the internet at all.
Once we build a vendor relationship, we also want to make sure we can offer new parts to you at a great price. There actually some parts where we sell them above prevailing cost because our customers tell us it’s easier to get everything from us at once. But in almost every case we work hard to bring in parts that we can sell to you at a fair price. Generally we find ways to be the lowest cost in the market.
From $1 to $100,000
Solid Signal offers parts as low as $1, and custom implementation solutions over $100,000. Price isn’t a factor when you look at the great selection at SolidSignal.com. The most important thing is our ability to serve our customers.
No request is too unique
We’ve grown in ways most of our customers don’t expect. A lot of our customers think of us as a vendor for satellite, antenna, and cellular accessories. But did you know we offer parts to customize police cars? Did you realize we have parts to help you accessorize your boat? That we still sell DVD players? We’re here to take care of you in a lot of different ways and we’re always open to something new.

Or, send an email to [email protected] and it will go to our crack marketing team who will get started on the process! In some cases, the part can be added the same day. In other cases it takes time to get it from another part of the country or to work through contract issues. Throughout the process, we’ll be in contact with you to make sure how it’s going.
Folks, this is something that really sets Solid Signal apart. Most online stores aren’t willing to add parts. I don’t know why, since most of our top sellers come from customer requests.
