Happy Independence Day! Our offices are closed, because it’s Sunday

Here’s to hoping you enjoy some barbecue and time with friends this July 4. We certainly have been through a lot since last July 4 and in most of the country, our governments are telling us it’s safe to relax. Have a beer with friends (responsibly.) Enjoy some together time outside. They say it’s ok.

This year, like last year, Independence Day comes on a weekend. That means our offices were open normal hours on Friday and will be open normal hours on Monday. Shipping shouldn’t be affected either.

Live your best digital life

The sun’s out and the weather’s nice. You’ve been cooped up at home for about 16 months. But now that you can go outside, don’t forget the home electronics that made it possible for you to survive inside without going stir-crazy. Even if your system was perfect and totally up-to-date in the winter of 2019-2020, it might need a few tweaks now.

Why not take a few minutes while you’re enjoying the off time and take a look at those outdoor connections? Do you see any corrosion? Is all the grounding wire nice and tight?

Are you still using older HDMI cables? A lot of folks don’t realize that those funny little things that happen to your system are due to very old, or very cheap, cables.
