Have you checked out our video tutorials lately?

We’ve been busy folks in the Marketing department at Solid Signal. Lately, we’ve been producing about three videos a week on different topics. Most of these are new tutorials that help you understand the world of broadcasting in a whole new way.

Are pictures worth 1,000 words?

Here’s the dirty little secret. The rules and technology of broadcasting hasn’t changed. There are a few new things out there, but for the most part this technology is based on rules discovered over 100 years ago. So why make new content?

It’s all about reach, folks. When I started this blog, reading long-form content online was still a pretty new thing. And generationally, there were a lot of people who wanted to get their information that way. There still are.

But, there’s a whole new generation that’s anxious to learn about broadcasting. Younger Millennials and Generation Zers are the future of antenna and television culture. They’re the future of all of it. And they prefer to watch, not read. There’s nothing wrong with that.

So, while you can find a lot of this same information in our videos on this blog, it’s there so people can get it any way they want.

Trust Solid Signal

There are a lot of folks out there producing video content. I mean seriously, something like 7 years of videos are uploaded to the site every minute. Even though antenna culture is a pretty niche thing, there are still several people in the space. And for the most part they are doing good work. I’m not going to tell you not to watch anyone else. The only hope is that Solid Signal’s videos will help fill in some of the gaps out there, so that you can learn as much as possible.

Ready to watch?

It’s time to start! There are hundreds of tutorial videos on our channel. Some give general knowledge, while others are specific to particular pieces of equipment. And we’re producing more all the time. Got a suggestion? Leave it in the comments! A lot of our most-viewed videos came from customer suggestions.
