Name your own price at Solid Signal with PriceWaiter

Why pay retail? At Solid Signal, you don’t have to. We’ve partnered with PriceWaiter, an innovative online shopping service. With PriceWaiter you don’t have to pay full retail. Name your price and if we like it, we’ll accept it.

How does PriceWaiter work? It’s an extension for Chrome (A Firefox version is also available.) Once it’s installed, it scans through your shopping sites and if it finds a product that’s in its database, it goes to work.

Installing the extension

You can find the extension here, or go to Google’s Extensions page and search for PriceWaiter. You’ll have to give them your email address but that’s it. It seems pretty simple.

Shopping with PriceWaiter

You’ll see a red banner at the top with a suggested price. If that’s the price you want to pay, click or tap “make an offer.” You’re free to offer more or less.

You’ll be asked for your e-mail address and your zip code so that shipping can be charged appropriately. You can also send a message to the seller.

That’s all there is. You’ll be notified if the seller takes your offer. In some cases, if the web site you’re shopping at doesn’t take your offer, another might. You’ll have the option of finishing the sale with them.

Shopping with Amazon

If you shop at Amazon, you’ll see the “Make an Offer” button right below “Add to Cart.” You can make an offer and even if Amazon doesn’t accept it (chances are they won’t) another site could, and you can save a lot of money that way.

Why not save some money?

By naming your own price, you save money. The process is easy and you can cancel at any time. You’re not obligated to buy if the seller accepts your offer until you put in your payment and shipping information.

I think this is going to help us at Solid Signal. We know we’re not always the lowest price option. If you make an offer that matches what you find somewhere else, it lets us know what the market is ready to pay. If we accept, you win because you get the price you want along with Solid Signal’s unmatched customer service.

Try PriceWaiter now!

Why not try it out? The extension is easy to install and if you don’t like it, just turn it off! No harm, no foul but in the meantime you can save a lot of money at Solid Signal and also at lots of other participating sites. Check out Pricewaiter.com for a complete list.
