How do you know you need this magnetic wrist strap? Your family calls you “Fingers McFumbles” every time you try to install something.
Yes, you read that correctly. My family calls me “Fingers McFumbles” every time I do anything around the house. I’m usually pretty good when it comes to mowing the lawn, pruning trees and shrubs, etc. But when it comes to installing technology, I’m a total disaster. Dropping tools, losing important screws and bolts, and other blunders are common occurrences. I can’t deny it; Mr. McFumbles needs the Tech Choice magnetic wrist strap. Maybe you do, too.
So, What is the Magnetic Wrist Strap?
Well, it’s pretty much what its name implies. It’s a ballistic Polyester strap that goes around your wrist, and it has a magnetic strip inside of it. While this might sound simple, it’s actually a genius idea. Because of its magnet, you can use this wrist strap to hold:
- Drill bits,
- And some small tools.
This is a miracle device for fellow finger fumblers like me. The magnetic strip keeps these parts secured until you need them. This reduces the number of times you might drop, fumble, or misplace these important components. (I hate it when I drop a bolt then accidentally kick it across the floor!) There’s an added benefit, as well. It’s almost like having a third hand to help you while you work.
Yeah, I Got a Magnetic Wrist Strap
I knew it could help me just by looking at the product page. That’s because I KNOW I’m a klutz. My buddy Stuart Sweet is of a different mind. He’s a bitter skeptic, which means he has to poke, prod, and test these products. Only then will he begrudgingly give them his seal of approval. There’s an upside to his stubbornness, though. It means we get these cool product-testing videos that he makes.
Trust Solid Signal for Installation Equipment
Usually, this is the part of the post where I tell you to call Solid Signal if you have any questions. If you’re new to this blog, that number is 888-233-7563. I don’t think you’ll have to do that, though. Getting this magnetic wrist strap isn’t exactly a major buying decision. It IS a useful tool to help you with a variety of equipment installations and other chores around the house. Just get the thing. You’ll be glad you did!
