Windstream changes from DISH to DIRECTV

It’s ok of you haven’t heard of Windstream. As an internet service provider, they’re not as big as Comcast or Charter, but they are very big in the southeast. In the past they’ve offered DISH as part of their communications bundle but starting this month they’re moving to DIRECTV.

Their press release lays it out, if you’re interested in that sort of thing.  Basically as a Windstream customer you can bundle with DIRECTV and get TV, internet and (if you really must) landline phone on one bill at a special price.

Windstream’s new Kinetic fiber-based internet is rated at 1Gbps and that puts it in the same range as top-level internet speeds across the country, too. Good thing it’s a robust network, because the company is also offering a bundle that includes DIRECTV NOW. That means a lot of people are going to be using that fast internet during peak hours.

For those folks who don’t live in Windstream territory, you can still get great bundle pricing by calling Solid Signal at 888-233-7563, We have bundle opportunities for most major internet service providers.
