Charting the changes
Unlike the “official” list at att.com, our error code list covers all receivers made with the DIRECTV brand since 2003. That’s a lot of receivers! It’s also a lot of codes, and a lot of them aren’t current any more. So, we’ve rearranged and revised the entire document to make it easier for people to use and understand.

Our error code lists come straight from the customer service database and have the most information. You’ll be able to troubleshoot any problem you come across.

You’ll find error codes for every DIRECTV receiver made since 2003. Plus, the original customer service text from the databases back then. If you’re still nursing an older receiver, you’ll want to have this list available.
Genie 2 light codes
No one else can give you the full list of Genie 2 light codes. The Genie 2 is great but with only two lights to tell you what’s going on, it’s hard to diagnose problems. Our guide makes it easy!
