No installation is too big for us!

Do you need satellite TV in a 100-story skyscraper? What about a 50,000 seat arena? Most people think of satellite television as only working for homes, but the truth is, you can scale up a satellite signal a lot more than you think! Signal Connect, the commercial arm of Signal Group, LLC, has the know-how to make it happen!

How does satellite TV serve a large space?

When planning for a large satellite installation, Signal Group’s engineers plan for all the possible causes of signal loss. Signals from the dish are stabilized and amplified at the dish, and whenever they fall below a certain level, another amplifier is added. Because Signal Group uses extremely low-noise amplifiers with very strong gain, it’s possible to add many amplifiers to a system, each serving dozens of TVs.

We use the new commercial-grade trunk amplifier from AT&T to make the magic happen.  This  amplifier can take a signal and pump it up 10,000 times stronger than it was. This will let a satellite signal run up to 700 feet without needing another amp, depending on the setup. The whole system is planned so that you get excellent signal at the televisions.

The key to serving a massive building is the SWM Expander from AT&T. Properly installed, this device can supply DIRECTV service to 104 televisions up to 300 feet away. It’s the smallest device of its type on the market, clocking in at under 12x12x12 inches.

The equipment’s only half the story

It’s not enough to have the right equipment. You need the right people. That’s where Signal Connect comes in. Our team of engineers plan systems that work, period. Starting with the best software and certified system planners, we create systems for every new installation from scratch. Of course, our techs draw from a vast well of knowledge. With dozens of huge installations to our name, only the staff at Signal Connect can create the unique DIRECTV satellite system of your dreams.

We’ll use all the tools at our disposal, including site visits, building plans, and the experience of on-site maintenance personnel. We’ll pick the right equipment, get everything reviewed and approved as needed, and send an installation team to make sure everything is installed to spec.

It doesn’t matter what sort of large installation you’re planning, there should only be one number in your phone: Signal Connect
