Signal Connect rocks the marine industry at FLIBS

Our team went to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and found out they rock the marine industry!

While Signal Connect always attends the event, aka FLIBS. This year’s show was a bigger deal for us. For the first time ever, Signal Connect had a booth at the show. We were in Booth 606 in the Marine Electronics Tent, right next to the fine folks from Intellian. Having a booth put our nationally known marine dream team right in the center of all the tradeshow action. As a result, each of our team members have plenty of takeaways from the event, starting with this one…

“We Were Recognized and Respected!”

That’s what Essa Alijelat, Signal Connect sales rep, said about the event. “Everywhere we went, someone knew us as the people who bring satellite TV to boats,” he explained. “They even lined up at our booth just to say hi to me and Dave Ross.” Essa said that this recognition proved that all the hard work Signal Connect is doing is really paying off, particularly in the marine industry. “On a personal note, it made me proud of what I’ve been doing here for the past 13 years,” Essa added.

“We’re Professional Problem Solvers!”

This was Dave Ross’s takeaway from the show. He’s been helping yacht brokers and marine electronics installers nearly as long as Essa has. At FLIBS, Dave was reminded of just how much people appreciate everything he does. He recalled, “The word that kept coming up was ‘hero.’ I can’t count how many people called us that, and it was very humbling.” Dave added that he’s not sure that he’s a hero. He just believes that answering calls after-hours and on the weekends is what any good customer service rep does for their clients.

“We’ve Come a Long Way!”

That was Evan Weiss’s initial reaction to his team’s success at FLIBS. And he’s a good judge, too. As Executive Vice President of Signal Connect, he’s watched with pride as Essa and Dave developed the marine connectivity business. Evan added, “Eight years ago, the team produced about 40 new commercial activations each month, and maybe half of those were marine accounts. Today, they produce more than one hundred commercial activations each month, with two-thirds of those being marine accounts!” To say Evan is proud of his team’s hard work would be an understatement.

For Those Who Haven’t Worked with Signal Connect…

You should! Seriously, these folks are the go-to solution for all things marine connectivity. And by that, we mean satellite TV, internet, and/or cellular connection on boats. Dave, Essa, and the rest of the team have a solution for each of these options. They’re literally the marine industry’s leading experts in these things. And it’s their customer service that truly puts them in a league of their own. Let’s discuss that.

You get more than a connectivity solution when you work with Signal Connect. You also get an account rep who provides FREE tech support and account management services. What this means is simple. Whenever you have a connection issue or need a change made to an account, you call your rep. They’ll take care of everything over the phone, and you’ll never see a bill for their time. Some people call this service “added value;” but to us, it’s considered “white glove service.” You deserve it!

Signal Connect believes in providing our marine clients with the best possible solutions. This includes the level of service we offer before, during, and after the sale. Like we said, this is the team to work with when you need a connectivity solution on your boat. We’ve also made it easy for you to contact us. You can call 888-233-7563 or fill out the form below.
