An antenna for now or an antenna for life?

Do you need a lifetime antenna? Most people move every 5-7 years, and the TV landscape changes all the time. Some people just aren’t into the cord-cutting movement, and will go back to cable or satellite at some point.

On the other hand, there are those people who buy a house and stay in it for decades. They don’t want to get up on the roof more than once. They may be replacing a 50-year-old antenna and want something that is just as reliable.

No matter which camp you fall into Solid Signal has an antenna for you.

For people who aren’t completely sold on cord-cutting, we have the Xtreme Signal line. These are value-priced antennas that outperform anything else in the price range. Yes, it’s true that they won’t last forever. They’re made of a little thinner material and I think 5-7 years is a great expectation for these antennas. But if you’re only staying in the home for a few years then that works for you. Why pay more when the performance you seek doesn’t have to cost a lot?

On the other hand, we also carry the Televes line of antennas. These antennas are built for a lifetime of use. They’re as well-built as those antennas from “the good old days” except they have modern features like enhanced UHF performance, low-noise amplifiers, and LTE filtering. They give you the 21st-century antenna experience. Yes, they cost a bit more but they’ll last for decades. This is the antenna I’d pick if I wanted to go up on the roof once and forget about things after that.

The point is, this is a wonderful time to be looking for antennas. There has never been such a wide selection of antennas in different shapes and sizes to meet virtually any need. You can almost name your price and find an antenna that performs at that price. Obviously if you’re far away from the city you’ll need a bigger one but you still have a lot of choices. Pay a little now, and you’ll end up swapping that antenna out sooner (which may be just fine for you.) Pay more now, and you’ll have a lifetime antenna.

The only thing you need to remember is, Solid Signal is your source for antennas… no one else has a better selection or better prices!
