AT&T customers, your DIRECTV standard definition (SD) is coming to end!  To keep enjoying your favorite shows, let Signal Connect help you upgrade to DIRECTV HD.

AT&T is saying goodbye to DIRECTV standard definition (SD) equipment and service. DIRECTV7S, also known as the 119 satellite, is coming to the end of its useful life. AT&T is setting this satellite to drift into a “parking orbit” in outer space. When this happens in 2019, it marks the end of DIRECTV SD programming. If you only have SD programming, your TV screen will go dark.  To keep enjoying your favorite shows, you need to upgrade to DIRECTV HD or 4K. Fortunately, Signal Connect is here to help. As an AT&T Preferred Dealer, we’ll walk you through the purchase of your DIRECTV upgrade equipment and programming package.

DIRECTV Equipment Upgrade for Existing Customers

AT&T and Signal Connect care about current DIRECTV customers. That’s why we want to make the upgrade process as easy as possible for you. You’ll need to upgrade to DIRECTV HD or DIRECTV 4K to keep enjoying your favorite programming. In most cases, your DIRECTV satellite dish is able to receive the new programming. A new DIRECTV receiver, viewing options, and equipment round out your DIRECTV upgrade package.

DIRECTV Upgrade Package to HD

A DIRECTV upgrade to HD is a great way for SD users to keep enjoying their favorite shows. DIRECTV high definition (HD) delivers programming in stunning 1080p HD reception. This is far superior to the SD programming you and your family have.  The quality is so great, you’ll have to see and hear it to believe it.  Once you do, you’ll be glad you upgraded to DIRECTV HD.

DIRECTV HD upgrades for existing customers are easy for us at Signal Connect.  You’ll get DIRECTV equipment from our sister company Solid Signal, a leading online signal electronics store.  Solid Signal stocks its inventory with a full line of DIRECTV receivers, dishes, remotes, splitters, and more.  Signal Connect also matches you with a local DIRECTV installer from our network.  Once the DIRECTV HD installation is done, a Signal Connect rep will quickly activate your account.  We’ll have you watching DIRECTV in no time!

DIRECTV Upgrade to 4K

DIRECTV 4K is the best programming that the satellite TV provider has to offer. It’s also known as Ultra HD or ultra high def (UHD).  DIRECTV 4K delivers four times the resolution of HD.  It also has theater-quality Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound. This means that 4K makes live sports and other exclusive programming come to life on your TV screen.

Right now, AT&T’s DIRECTV 4K is already available on several viewing packages. AT&T expects its DIRECTV 4K content to grow in the years to come. If you get your DIRECTV upgrade package now, you will continue to enjoy more 4K programming as time goes on.  Are you ready for some more good news?  Chances are, you might already own a DIRECTV 4K-ready TV set!

To get a DIRECTV upgrade to 4K, you’ll need a new receiver. The DIRECTV Genie 2 is the latest of these devices (available to all subscribers sometime in the first half of 2018). You’ll also need a high-speed HDMI cable. If your smart TV isn’t DIRECTV 4K-ready, you’ll also need a DIRECTV 4K Genie Mini Client.  While the dish you have will receive 4K programming, you’ll need a Reverse Band 3 LNB.  This helps you stay “future-proofed” as DIRECTV adds more 4K programming.

DIRECTV Upgrade Deals for Existing Customers

Are you a current DIRECTV viewer who’s ready to upgrade to HD or 4K?  If so, you might be eligible for a DIRECTV upgrade promotion for existing customers.  As an AT&T Preferred Dealer, we’ll see if you qualify for any special promotions.  This is just a small part of the customer support service we provide to help you with your DIRECTV upgrade.  Don’t be without satellite TV when AT&T’s SD programming goes dark.  Call Signal Connect at 888-233-7563 for the best DIRECTV upgrade package and more!
