Get to know “Easy F”

TOPICS:

There’s a reason they call it “Easy.’ With the Easy F connection system featured on Televes outdoor amplifiers and coming soon to other Televes products, you don’t need commercial-grade skills to connect equipment together with the right length of RG6 coaxial cable.

RG6 cable that’s too long can cause signal loss, and yet most people who hook up antennas will leave a lot of extra cable around because they have bought a pre-made cable and they don’t have the tools to shorten that. With the easy-F connection system exclusively on Televes products, you don’t need to worry about that anymore.

Believe it or not, the physical connectors on a cable cause loss, too. That’s why the Easy-F system is the best, because you get a direct connection between devices with as little loss as possible.

You can use any coaxial cable cutter (don’t use pliers or a wire stripper), and you’ll need a philips head screwdriver. Of course not everyone has a cable cutter, so we include one for free with every Televes mast amplifier.

Seriously, it’s this easy:

If you want a little more detail about how to do it, there’s a step-by-step guide in our review of Televes mast amplifers, or watch this helpful video!
